KATHRYN ANNE ROSE WRESTLER


MONTPELIER, INDIANA
Kathryn Anne Rose Wrestler, 90, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at her sister’s residence in Hartford City.
Kathryn was born December 29, 1921 in Blackford County to Omer and Mary Jane (Taughinbaugh) Risinger. She graduated from Hartford City High School in 1939 and worked at Franklin Finance for several years. On November 11, 1950, she married John C. Wrestler in Montpelier and they resided in rural Wells County.
Kathryn was a member of First Baptist Church, Montpelier, and was a lifetime member of Five Points School.
Surviving are her husband, John; her son, Charles (Jan) Wrestler, rural Montpelier; 2 daughters, Anne (Gary) Boone, Keystone and Linda Wrestler, (husband, Ron Wielage), Indianapolis; her sister, Virginia Risinger, Hartford City; 5 grandchildren, David (Bonnie) Boone, Keith Boone, Carol (John) Felger, Jennifer Wrestler and Jeremiah Wrestler; 8 great-grandchildren, Aislinn, Ian, Loki and Colton Boone, Caity and Emme Patton, Zack and Kylee Felger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, Nancy Rose, 3 brothers, Joseph, Robert and Edward Risinger, and her sister, Martha Risinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Pastor Robert Allen and Pastor Frank Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Montpelier.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30 and after 10:00 a.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Montpelier.

LADONNA RUVANG


HARTFORD CITY, INDIANA

LaDonna L. Ruvang, 85, passed away August 15, 2012 at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1927 in New Castle to George and Myrtle (Lorentz) Holloway. LaDonna married Ralph G. Ruvang on December 17, 1950 in New Castle and they moved to Hartford City in 1958.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Elks #625, the former Blackford Country Club, several bowling leagues, bridge clubs and euchre clubs.
LaDonna was co-owner and operator of the Montgomery Ward Appliance and Catalog Store on the west side of the square retiring in 1983. She also worked several secretarial jobs through the years.
Surviving are: 2 daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” (Michael) Glass and Diane (Peter) Brown, both of Hartford City; a son, John (Lynn) Ruvang, Bartonville, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Glass, Aaron Brown, Tillery, Stephanie and Brandi Ruvang; and 2 great-grandchildren, Derek and Brayden Glass, one sister, Sharon Hager, Muncie, and 3 nieces, Lucinda Bowen, Christina Arnett and Kelli Drake.
In addition to her parents, her husband Ralph preceded her in death on October 25, 2007.
A Celebration of LaDonna’s life will be held in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 19 with Rev. Lloyd Hall officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 19 from noon – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
LaDonna’s family requests memorials to the American Lung Association.
