VIKKI J. WISE


HARTFORD CITY

Vikki J. Wise, 67, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in I. U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.
She was born in Indianapolis on August 1, 1947 to Harold and Lucille A. (Lennon) Garrett and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1965.

Vikki married Ricky G. Wise on March 5, 1966 in the First Christian Church of Hartford City.
Her hobbies included cross stitching, scrapbooking, and making quilts for others. She also was an avid bird lover. Vikki belonged to Central Indiana Bird Cage Club and North Central Indiana Ferret Rescue. 

Survivors include her husband, Ricky, three daughters, Ricci Zigler, Tempe, Arizona, Gina Wise, Rockford, Illinois and Lisa D. Brennan (Shane Parsons), Hartford City, and four grandchildren, Andrew and Charles Zigler, Daniel Brennan and Quinn Parsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial gathering will be Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Blackford 4-H Building.

DR. CHARLES A. DUDGEON


Fort Myers, Florida
Charles Albert Dudgeon, 87, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away of natural causes on Monday, November 3, 2014.

Charles was born January 26, 1927 in Rockford, Ohio. After graduating from Rockford High School, he attended Bowling Green State University and obtained a degree in medicine from Ohio State University in 1954. Prior to graduation from college, he served in the Navy Reserves from 1945 to 1946.
After completing his residency at St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima, Ohio, Charles moved to Hartford City, Indiana and was a prominent general practice physician for 43 years. He greatly enjoyed serving his community as a doctor and school board member.

His hobbies included reading, flying in his airplane and collecting cut glass from the American Brilliant Period.
Charles is survived by his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Melinda Lindell of Muncie; son, Mark Dudgeon of San Francisco; daughter, Deon Seifert of Indianapolis; step-daughter, Heather Goodrich of Fishers; step-son, Shawn Swearingen of Pendleton and 10 loving grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lela (High) Dudgeon of Rockford, Ohio, his brother, Clois Dudgeon, of Rockford, Ohio and his son, Douglas Dudgeon of Indianapolis.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City. A family burial service will be made at Union Cemetery, Eaton.

Memorial donations may be given to any charity of choice in memory of Charles.
