MONTPELIER, INDIANA
Floyd M. Cook, 72, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his
daughter’s home in Montpelier.
Floyd was born on December 6, 1940 to Oscar and Earline
(Grove) Cook in Hartford City, Indiana. He graduated from Hartford City High
School in 1958 and married Patsie Eldridge on November 28, 1969.
Floyd was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
He worked at Visy Recycling, retiring in 2002.
He is survived by his children: Cheryl (Kerry) LaMotte,
Hartford City, Celina (Allen) Osborn, West Lafayette, Chanda (Kent) Armstrong,
Merritt Island, FL, Jeffrey (Pam) Cook, Paris, TN, Jennifer Barton, Montpelier,
Angela (Paul) Price, Muncie, Heather Anderson, Hartford City; 20 grandchildren
and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patsie in
2003, and a sister, Michelle Cowgill.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday,
April 19, 2013 at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City
with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory,
Muncie.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00 P.M.
to 8:00 P.M and after 10:00 A.M. on Friday.
