Monte A. “Cujo” Fowler, 52, passed away early Monday, March
10, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after an unexpected illness.
He was born July 11, 1961 in St. Mary’s, Ohio to Lloyd E.
and Ruth (Starr) Fowler and attended Jay County schools. Monte worked as a
dental lab technician in his and his sister’s business. He loved his Harley
Davidson motorcycle and Maid-Rite sandwiches from Greenville, Ohio.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth (Max) Rauch, Michigan,
two children, Josh (Jessica) Fowler, Salamonia, and Tana (Thomas) Trammell,
Portland, a brother, Ted Fowler, two sisters, Pam Griffith and Teresa McDaniel,
two grandchildren, William and Gwyneth Trammell, and close friends, Sherri Cox,
Rocky Lillard and John Vaughn and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was held according to his wishes.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29,
2014 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Rev.
Bobby Thomas presiding. Friends and family may gather after 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
