HARTFORD CITY
Evelyn E. Gilland, 77, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013
in Miller’s Merry Manor.
She was born May 19, 1936 in Hartford City to Raymond and
Mary E. (Boston) Arbuckle, Sr.
Evelyn graduated from Hartford City High School in 1954 and
married Charles E. Gilland on August 28, 1960.
Evelyn worked at Fulton Glass Company, and later retired
from Hartford Glass Company.
Surviving are: her daughter, Kimberly (Geoff) Harlow,
Hartford City; a granddaughter, Kacey Harlow; a grandson, Jeffrey Gilland; a
sister, Ann (Eldon) Willmann, Hartford City; a brother, Albert ‘Butch’
Arbuckle, Warren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a
son, Bret Gilland, two brothers, Raymond Arbuckle, Jr. and Ronald ‘Pete’
Arbuckle, and a sister, Marjorie McClain.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday,
January 4, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W.
Washington St., Hartford City.

Community Foundation, P.O. Box 327, Hartford City.
