DOROTHY ARLENE RHONEMUS

HARTFORD CITY, IN

Dorothy Arlene Rhonemus, 89, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 in Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 25, 1920 in Hartford City, the daughter of Raoul “Polly” and Daisy (Wrestler) Wallem. She was married to Everett F. Rhonemus who died in 1982.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Amvets and American Legion Auxiliaries.

Dorothy loved to travel and had visited Greece, Poland and Paris, France. She loved dancing and enjoyed playing the organ and studying nature.

Surviving are: a son, Terry Bryce Worley, Kansas and a daughter, Judy Arlene (Robert) Booher, Hollywood, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Shane Weaver, Kristy Speidel, Deanna Lovett, Douglas Weaver, Bryan Hardy, Joey Worley, Nelson Worley, and Andrea “Susie” Worley ; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Cole and Lois Jean Lamotte.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Rev. Nancy Middaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
