LLOYD E. FOWLER

ANSONIA, OHIO

Lloyd E. Fowler, 89, resident of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.

He was born November 22, 1921 in Randolph County, Indiana to George Jerome and Clara (Alexander) Fowler. He graduated from Jackson High School in Randolph County.

Lloyd worked as a tool maker at Fort Recovery Industries for 37 years.

Surviving are his children: Ted E. (Sherry) Fowler, Winchester, Teresa McDaniel, Union City, IN, Pam Griffith and Monte Fowler, both of Hartford City, IN; two step-children, Steve White, Greenville, OH and Deb Alexander, Dayton, OH; six grandchildren, Rochelle McGowan, Charlotte Grant-Huston, Marci Lovell, Lisa Fowler, Joshua Fowler and Tana Trammell; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Grant-Huston, Lynee Lovell and Troy Lovell, Jr.; two great-great-grandchildren, Tristan and Anthony Grant.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda (Million) Fowler in 1993, a brother, Keith Fowler and a son-in-law, James L. Griffith.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, June 4 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City, Indiana. The Committal Service will be at 3 p.m. at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens between Ansonia and Greenville, Ohio.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
