Whitney Christine Blakley, 26, passed away Wednesday
morning, July 22, 2015 after becoming ill at work.
Whitney was born in Bluffton, Indiana on December 27, 1988
to Robert and Heidi (Hudson) Blakley and lived here her entire life.
She graduated from Blackford High School in 2007, had
attended Ivy Tech to become a dental assistant and had been employed at BRC Industries,
Hartford City for the last three years, at the time of her passing.
A life member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle,
Dunkirk, Whitney also was a country music fan- especially Justin Moore; enjoyed
kick-boxing and attended the “fight nights”. She enjoyed the 4th of
July, as much as any holiday and
especially enjoyed spending time with family
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Heidi; sister,
Betty Elizabeth Blakley, maternal grandparents, John and Marcella Hudson, her
companion, James Sutton, all of Hartford City. Aunts: Dreama (Tim) Hall, Amy (Shaun) West, Lisa
Hall, Sharon Smith and Edie (Jeff) Hall; Uncle, Johnny (Kim) Hudson, Jr.,
nieces and nephews: Adalee Dream Rogers, Penelope Rose Cronin, Colin Cronin,
Gibson Hall, and John, Christopher and Steven Sutton, as well as several
Great-aunts, Great-uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald
Blakley in 1994; Barbara Blakley in 1997, an aunt, Julie Pryor, and two uncles, Jeff
Hudson and Mark Hall
Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 – 6 P.M.
Sunday, July 26th at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W.
Washington St., Hartford City, and an hour before the funeral Monday, at the
church in Dunkirk.
Whitney’s home-going celebration will begin at 10:30 A.M. Monday,
July 27, 2015 in the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle, 468 E. Washington St.,
Dunkirk, with Rev. Bobby Thomas presiding. Burial will be in Hartford City
Cemetery following the service.

funeral home.
