Clara E. Bilbrey, 76, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Bilbrey was born October 26, 1935 in Muncie ,
the daughter of Lurton and Elsie (Jones) Boyd. She married Hollis D. Bilbrey in
Inglewood , California November 23, 1959 .
Clara was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved
taking care of children.
Survivors include her children: Hollis Bilbrey, Jr. (fiancé,
Julie Flatter), Montpelier, Terry (Darlena) Bilbrey, Hartford City, Diana (Gary)
Irwin, Kansas City, Missouri, and Jody (Tonya) Bilbrey, Hartford City; two
sisters, Lois (Gary) Keller and Marilyn (Ray) Miller; 15 grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a
son, Charles Bilbrey, a brother Marvin “Pete” Boyd, a sister, Barbara Clanin,
and a daughter-in-law, Fran Bilbrey.
Funeral service will be at 11:00
a.m. Wednesday, June 13 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W.
Washington St. , Hartford City with Pastor Stephen Rogers officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery
